Playtime

Allison is doing more and more these days. Though her preferred activities include eating and crying, she is spending more time awake and is starting to play in her play box. She can swat at the hanging toys and is starting to smile more. We do tummy time after big brother goes to bed in order to keep her from being body-slammed (he means well). Ally is getting better at holding her head up, but really isn't interested at all. She will hold it up just long enough for us to get a good look at her, and then back down she goes.

When she went to the doctor last week for a check-up, she weighed 11 pounds (although I think she has gained a little more now) and was 23 inches long. Even though she was only 6 weeks, she got her 2 month shots and was a trooper. She only cried when the needle went in, and then she stopped! She is in such good health that the doctor said we could skip the 2 month appointment and she doesn't have to go again until 4 months!
